On behalf of the charity; A production company in London,United Kingdom were seeking to engage the services of a Planning and Urban Design Consultancy to assist in developing the brief/ requirements for the school project.As a socially-led project, the driving ambition would appear to be to maximize the use of existing facilities and site opportunities.

 

urbansynthesis were chosen as the urban design/architecture enablers for the following tasks

 

Prepare an overview of urban design considerations to guide potential development

Assist the Client in developing the project vision/ ambition, schedule of accommodation and work programme

Meet with the local authority to identify any applicable planning conditions and the requirements of a planning and building application.

Assist in guiding discussions between the Client and the architects to ensure the design maximizes development opportunities and mitigates site constraints.
