biomorph - the journal for Research in Art, Architecture and Landscape
At urbansynthesis we try to challenge the norms by inventive thinking and applying research outcomes/concepts to our designs as we consider the environment and Geo locations as contextual embodiment. We present biomorph, the journal for research, thought and future thinking.
Some research fields which we intend to pursuit are as follows:
TRACTABILIS BUILDING
Buildings are static by nature. At urbansynthesis we are working on build forms that are responsive to climatic conditions and user requirements. The building thus becomes a dynamic “biological” organism instead of a 3D object responding to the environment.
About the origin of the Latin word Tractabilis, \ˌtrak-tə-ˈbi-lis\ - Responsive, First Known Use: 1502 BC MDII
FOR ARTISTS AND SCIENTISTS ARE GOD'S CHOSEN PEOPLE
ART + ARCHITECTURE
Artists create visual fields, patterns, and images. At urbansynthesis we consider this fusion of architecture with art as an integral part of the design phase. Themes being explored are:
Cubism in Architecture
Miro’s visual imagery
Mondrain fields
Vincent van Gough's expressionism
Rodchenko & Popova's compositions
